SoEngage: Engaging farmers in social farming

The SoEngage and the follow up SoEngage+ project developed training to support farmers engage in and promote Social Farm services.

Social Farming enables farmers to use their agricultural expertise to offer people who are socially, physically, mentally or intellectually disadvantaged the opportunity to spend time on a farm working with animals and nature.

Partners created a comprehensive set of online modules covering how to set up and manage a Social Farm with case study examples of Social Farms across the partner regions. Partners also developed online training to help farmers produce videos to promote their Social Farm services.
