ROSE Project: Remote Occupation Education

The main goal of the ROSE project is to equip individuals with remote work skills for personal and professional growth to empower them to excel in remote work careers and attain economic independence

Remote work, once considered a niche, has become a mainstream option for employment. While it might seem that working remotely requires minimal adjustments, the reality is that remote work is a unique and distinct way of working. It involves mastering essential competencies such as time management, communication skills, remote collaboration tools, as well as job-specific capabilities.

The ROSE project aims to offer universal training encompassing essential remote work skills.

Training modules will include general competencies and job-specific proficiencies.

The project will develop mentorship modules for sustainability to enable other organizations to replicate our success with diverse target groups.

The project encompasses a range of activities, including the development of diagnostic tools for work activation, the creation of comprehensive remote work training materials, pilot testing, and dissemination of the materials through a guidebook, multiplier events, final conference and an interactive project website with community features. The main aim is to empower individuals interested in working remotely with basic remote work competencies.

Our project aims to empower individuals interested in working remotely with these crucial remote work competencies. We believe that everyone, especially those who are currently not active in the labour market, should have the opportunity to tap into the remote job landscape.

Remote work has the potential to provide economic independence and flexibility to diverse groups such as people living in remote areas, and others facing barriers to traditional employment. By providing them with remote work competencies to enable them to seize remote job opportunities, enhancing their economic independence and social well-being.
